From a Deck of Tarot
I see a lot of men in this stack of Tarot. They are scattered throughout this tiny world of cards in various poses, actions, and successes.
I do hazard to guess that these illustrations were created by a woman. Am I the only one who sees the irony of a male magician wielding a candle from behind an empty goblet? This is a male thing to do. He does not care that the goblet is empty but the simple act of telling you it is full will also make him believe it is full.
You will stare directly into the empty goblet and doubt your own eyes. Perhaps it is full of something magical you wonder, he does look very confident with his burning candle and red robe.
Those rose bushes planted around him, I almost guarantee you they were planted by a woman.
The hanged man, what a relaxed fellow. Leave it to a man to dangle from his foot with few cares on his mind. His blond hair is shiny and soft and his thighs look pretty toned, I’m sure someone will come along to save him.
I suppose it always works out for the hanged man, but the hanged woman, how did you get up there to begin with? What did you do to deserve being hung from your ankle? I’m sure it had to be something horrifying. Should we even bring her down? Those red leggings look too tight on her and maybe the inversion will be good for her emotional well-being.
The two of swords, you look like a nice mix of feminine and masculine but I almost bet everything under that robe is completely male. What are you waiting for anyway blindfolded with those two swords crisscrossed in that fashion?
Perhaps a lover to come stretch her throat between the two. You will become startled and allow the swords you posed in such a dangerous manner to slice her throat. You will argue, well she shouldn’t have put her throat there. I am completely in my right to lounge almost naked with the softest of lips and swords in my hands.
Man with the goblets, I have no words for you. You have three goblets sitting in front of you and the universe is handing you yet another. Why do you deserve more when I a woman don’t even have one?
